Position Summary:
Through experiential modules in visual art, music, dance, and drama, students engage in these artistic practices while exploring the developmental relevance and therapeutic impact of children's active participation in the creative arts. Students apply their theoretical and practical learning from these modules in order to design accessible activities for, and then provide leadership at, a week-long inclusive creative arts day-camp entitled "Arts Express".
Dates of Instruction:
May 25 & 26 (6 hours total instruction)
Additional Administrative work: 11 hours. This drama instructor position entails 8 hours of administrative responsibility at KidsAbility and Laurier, plus 3 hours of planning meetings for the Arts Express Camp (July 6-10, 2026).

This appointment is in accordance with the Contract Teaching Faculty and Part-time Librarians Collective Agreement, for which the Wilfrid Laurier Faculty Association (WLUFA) is the exclusive bargaining agent. Applicants are assessed using both the “Appendix H: Assessment of CTF Candidates under 13.6.1” in the collective agreement and the program specific rubric, where applicable.
