About The Work Environment

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you\'ll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm with flexibility around start / end times.

We are hiring for this position out of our Vancouver office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About The Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years working in mortgage administration.
  • Bilingual - Fluency in French / English speaking and writing at a professional level required.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-orientated, with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong written and oral communicator.

About The Day-to-day
  • Deliver exceptional, professional, and courteous service to our customers and brokers.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Underwriters, Business Development teams, and Lawyers to facilitate the smooth and efficient closing of mortgage files.
  • Review documentation for compliance with file-specific conditions and company policies, ensuring follow-ups with mortgage brokers for any outstanding requirements.
  • Maintain well-organized and complete mortgage files.
  • Verify and validate all required mortgage and client information for accuracy.
  • Apply strong pipeline management skills by conducting regular follow-ups with mortgage brokers and partners to collect outstanding documentation as outlined in the mortgage commitment.
  • Identify escalation items and collaborate with Underwriters or Managers to resolve them efficiently.
  • Prepare and send instructional packages to FNF for solicitors, along with relevant supporting documents.
  • Ensure all conditions are met and documentation is received, reviewing solicitor-prepared mortgage documents to confirm alignment with the terms of commitment and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering outstanding personalized service.
  • Stay current on applicable mortgage underwriting policies, procedures, and products.
Compensation

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary. Salary for this position will vary between $55,000 and $60,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possess. As part of our recruiting process, shortlisted candidates will be asked their salary expectations for this position.
