A healthcare facility in Ontario is seeking a Mental Health Therapist 1 to provide care within a multi-disciplinary team. The role involves developing individualized recovery plans and implementing treatment strategies for individuals with Substance Use Disorders. Qualified candidates must have relevant education and experience in mental health, along with a valid driver's license and a clear criminal background. The position offers a full-time permanent contract with competitive hourly pay.
The Mental Health Therapist 1 – Mental Health and Addictions works with clients with mental health and addictions challenges. This position is part of a multi-disciplinary Mental Health and Addictions team offering a range of interventions from abstinence to harm reduction strategies. This is a case management position providing care to individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD), in a clinic, outreach or community setting.
The Mental Health Therapist 1 works with the client and the Mental Health and Addictions team to develop and implement appropriate holistic person-centered approach to mental health care and recovery plans to meet the client’s needs.
