Reports to the Chief Technologist and Section Charge Technologist, Performs laboratory procedures in Transfusion Service, Core Analysis (Chemistry, Hematology), Urinalysis.
Shift Rotation / Hours of work: Days, Evenings, Nights - 06:00 to 14:30, 07:30 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:50, 14:30 to 11:00, 07:00 to 15:30, Rotating.
Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full‑service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 Acute Care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Dawson Creek is the Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical centre for the Northeast Region of BC.

Dawson Creek Wide blue skies and the rolling foothills of the Northern Rockies surround Dawson Creek. The city is also known as the Mile Zero City, as it marks the start of the Alaska Highway, a 2,400 km long highway connecting Alaska and the Yukon to Western Canada and the United States. Dawson Creek has a population of approximately 12,500. It provides primary service to a population of approximately 20,000 and helps serve the larger population of the Peace River Region of 60,000. There are eleven elementary schools, one middle school and one secondary school. The Northern Lights College provides adult education.
