Base pay range

What You’ll Do
  • Lead engineering design for ports, harbours, and large civil infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and drafters
  • Mentor junior staff and help grow the technical capabilities of the team
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and project summaries
  • Participate in site visits to gather design input and ensure quality throughout project phases
  • Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Occasionally travel within Canada and abroad
What We’re Looking For
  • P.Eng. registration in Canada (or eligibility in BC); P.E. (USA) is an asset
  • 15+ years of progressive engineering experience, including project delivery in port engineering or similar heavy civil projects
  • Strong technical design experience in: Reinforced concrete and structural steel; Foundations (piled and other), marine structures, and earthworks; Seismic and marine-specific design
  • Effective cross-disciplinary coordination skills
  • Proven team leadership and ability to communicate across all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written English and strong report writing capabilities
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling for large projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The salary for this position is $120,000 to $170,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
