Job description

**position outside the traditional practice of law**

3 years + | Montreal

Our client is a leading commercial real estate services company.

To maximize the efficiency of their busy team and support ongoing activities, one of their brokers—whose Montreal-based practice is significant and growing —is looking to add the support of a legal professional who enjoys thinking outside the box and is interested in a role that is halfway between traditional legal practice and business leadership.

On a daily basis, you will be actively involved in all stages of real estate transactions. You will assist with the preparation of transactional documents, including those related to purchase agreements, lease assignments and renewals, and due diligence. You will also be responsible for tracking files and deadlines, as well as coordinating with all stakeholders to bring transactions to completion, including obtaining required documentation and communicating with the relevant parties.

Are you known for delivering excellent client service and for your strong business acumen? Do you take a practical, results-driven approach focused on achieving objectives and targets? Do you enjoy being in the thick of things?

If you are bilingual, a member of the Bar or a notary with 2–5 years of experience, and have an interest in real estate in addition to solid transactional knowledge, you could be the person we are looking for. Contact us today. Ref: #34070
