Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the project Supply Chain team to ensure delivery of materials, supplies, equipment, services, and construction contracts to meet project requirements within budget and on schedule.
  • Develop and oversee Project Procurement Plan & Strategy.
  • Manage project interface communication with client & Worley project management team.
  • Prepare budgets & estimating activities to support the project.t
  • Worley Global interface strategies/leverage as per the project strategy.
  • Establish and maintains SCM Scorecard/KPIs throughout the program.
  • Manage, track and report Supply Chain value / savings.
  • Market Intelligence reporting with early communication with potential suppliers for shop loading and cost risks related to material pricing trends.
  • Development of the Material Responsibility Matrix (MRM).
  • Establish Purchasing process milestones, assigns earned value.
  • Review project Constructability Plans, Construction Plans, Environmental Plan, Quality Plan, Lessons Learned, and Document Management Plan that may have a Supply Chain impact / requirement.
  • Oversee Contracts staff and provide fabrication, contracts strategy and risk review, that will meet the needs of the project schedule and budget.
  • Contract staff will facilitate the formation of contracts, subcontracts, award process and contracts administration and will coordinate closely with procurement and other key project stakeholders.
  • Provide Project Controls with data for assessment of Supply Chain Services labour-hour budget and productivity measures.
  • Implement Strategic Procurement and Logistics cross-functional initiatives, to include modularization strategy.
  • Ensures compliance with Worley and Customer Diversity procedures and goals, particularly local content.
  • Engage with the key stakeholders for strong and effective collaboration on complex strategies, to ensure successful execution of plans.
  • Work with client to determine the overall Supply Quality Surveillance (SQS) program, to ensure clear communications and risk review of items that are inspected in accordance with quality assurance plans, protocols and ITPs.
  • Oversight of Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) staff, who will be responsible for quality issue resolution, performance/coordination of inspection shop visits to expedite, monitor Supplier progress, and to provide surveillance, examination and inspection and testing, review of necessary documentation in accordance with the inspection test plan (ITP) and specifications.
  • Implementation of effective quality controls with key suppliers.
  • Communication and escalation to project stakeholders regarding the identification and resolution of any non-conformance or related quality issues of a Supplier/Contractors .
Technical and Industry Experience
  • Senior level relevant experience including supply chain or project management leadership experience.
  • Previous experience working on large / mega industrial EPCM projects (e.g. energy projects, or mining, minerals & metals projects) is preferred.
  • Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior level management.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.
  • Advanced understanding of project supply chain systems, processes and tools related to field.
  • Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
  • May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
  • University Degree of equivalent in related field or discipline – or equivalent relevant experience .
