About the Role

Russell Tobin Canada is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a long-term care team committed to high-quality, compassionate care. This position involves a rotating shift schedule across day, evening, and night shifts, supporting residents with complex and evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent, and evidence-informed nursing care to residents in accordance with BCCNM standards.
• Complete ongoing assessments, care planning, and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-focused care.
• Maintain infection prevention and control procedures.
• Monitor changes in resident conditions and escalate concerns appropriately.

Facility Details

• 94 long-term care beds
• 6 short-stay convalescence/rehab beds
• Shifts:
• Days: 07:00–15:00 / 07:00–19:00
• Evenings: 15:00–23:00 / 11:00–19:00
• Nights: 23:00–07:00 / 19:00–07:00

Required Certifications

• Active and in-good-standing registration with BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current)
• Experience and/or training in Long-Term Care (LTC) and strong clinical assessment skills
