Job description

LNI Childcare Learning Centre is seeking F/T Infants’ Daycare Workers

  • Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
  • Wage: $27.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

  • Lead daily activities for infants and toddlers, including storytelling, reading, and developmentally appropriate play
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Provide essential care such as bathing, diapering, and feeding to support the hygiene and comfort of infants and toddlers
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that supports the overall well-being of all children
  • Assist children in developing essential self-care skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet training
  • Supervise the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, offering guidance and support as needed
  • Build positive and collaborative working relationships with other employees
  • Monitor children’s behavior and development, identifying early signs of potential concerns and preparing detailed reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Communicate regularly with parents and attend staff meetings to discuss each child’s progress, interests, and any challenges they may be facing

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience is an asset
  • Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
  • Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate, E.C.E. Certificate, and IT Certificate
