About the job

In your role, you will :

• Provide technical expertise and team leadership in the development of the engineering service provider registry, qualification, appraisal and management processes.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, organize and coordinate the development of required policies and documentation.
• Develop and deliver training in technical topics, policies and procedures.
• Provide expert advice on engineering service provider procurement and management processes and products and support to the RAQS replacement project.

What you bring to the team

Mandatory :

• You must be licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).

Technical Knowledge :

• Knowledge of policies, processes and standards pertaining to highway engineering and construction of highways.
• Knowledge of business systems development, automation technology and applications to conduct business reviews and develop practical, implementable systems.

Project Management Skills :

• Organizational and planning skills to produce key deliverables within established timeframes.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills :

• Communication and presentation skills to interpret design processes and products, develop policies and documentation, and deliver training.
• Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, lead working groups, and provide direction and support to team members.

Analytical & Problem Solving Skills :

• Analytical, problem-solving and research skills to evaluate and identify productivity improvements and provide innovative solutions and revisions to business processes.
