The Toronto office serves as a key hub for global corporate development and investor engagement, supporting the company's growth strategy, capital markets activities, and stakeholder engagements.

Role Overview

The Toronto-based Investor Relations & Corporate Development Manager / Associate will play an important role in supporting the head office in managing the company's relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders in the capital markets, and helping establish relationships with potential partners in the industry.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing global mining leader and contribute to building its North American investor and business partner relations platform.

In addition, this position will provide some executive support to a senior executive in the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary contact point for investors, analysts and potential business partners in North America.
  • Support the preparation of investor presentations, press releases, conference materials and other reports.
  • Monitor analyst research, market trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights to senior management.
  • Organize and coordinate investor roadshows, mining conferences, and one-on-one meetings for senior executives.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's investor relations website and digital communications.
  • Collaborate with finance, corporate development, operations, and ESG teams to ensure accurate, consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to a senior executive, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing presentation materials and agendas, and facilitating communication with external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Communication or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, corporate development, or financial communications (mining / natural resources sector experience preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, external advisors, and senior executives.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
