Structural Revit/CAD Technologist

ROV Consulting Inc. has an immediate exciting opportunity for aStructural Revit/CAD Technologist to join our young, vibrant, service focused team in Kelowna. In this role you will be responsible for the drafting of single family, multifamily, commercial and high-rise projects in Concrete, Steel, Wood and Masonry. You will be working closely with clients and professionals alike and provide clear communications both verbally and through drawings and details.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings usingRevitandAutoCAD
• Collaborate with engineers on a wide range of building design projects
• Coordinate and assemble drawing packages for building permit and construction
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with revisions, markups, and as-built drawings
• Support site-related coordination as needed

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
• A minimum 5 years’ experience as a Structural Drafter in Steel, Concrete, Wood and Masonry
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD(required)
• Some on-site construction experiences
• Knowledge of the applicable material design standards and BC Building Codes
• A valid driver’s license
• Positive, collaborative approach to teamwork
