Workiva Implementation Consultant

Salary: $86–$97 per hour (Canada) – Temporary, Fixed term contract.

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Remote with occasional on‑site workshops).

Contract length: 14 weeks (possible extension).

Please note: if you have not done at least one Workiva implementation before, your resume will not be considered.

This role involves hands‑on automation SOX testing and configuration/implementation of Workiva. You will work heavily with internal and external stakeholders, as well as an offshore delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure the Workiva platform by building workflows to manage SOX program.


• Administer testing of integrated systems with internal teams and external vendors.


• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.


• Configure Workiva to support SOX testing automation, including workflow design and backend setup.


• Collaborate with offshore teams and a senior client manager to oversee implementation.


• Support a large user base through scalable configuration and testing plans.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–10 years of overall experience in banking/finance as a consultant.


• 1–2+ large‑scale Workiva implementation projects.


• Experience configuring the Workiva platform to manage SOX program, building workflows, and test plans.


• Strong understanding of Workiva’s GRC module and financial reporting module.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, experience working with offshore teams.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with Archer and Peoplesoft for integrations.


• Exposure to Last‑Mile Reporting solutions such as Disclosure Management, Anaplan Disclosure Management, SAP Disclosure Management.
