Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions Limited is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to ensure safety and perform maintenance tasks at their Rocanville facility. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Red Seal certification and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement programs within the organization.

Qualifications

• Should possess a valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as an Industrial Mechanic.
• Experience in an industrial environment preferred (3-5 years).
• Must demonstrate positive safety behavior.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety policies while maintaining equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair on Mill equipment.
• Support continuous improvement by maintaining records and providing data.

What you will do:

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Nutrien safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees
• Provide technical diagnosis, perform maintenance, complete troubleshooting and repair work on all Mill equipment
• Support continuous improvement programs by maintaining equipment records and repair history and providing data for cause and failure analysis

What you will bring:

• A valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as an Industrial Mechanic
• Positive Safety behavior and safety leadership
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
• Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions
• Stable work record with 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment is an asset
