Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a ticketed journeyman preferred.
• Previous oil sands site experience will be considered an asset.
• Able to maintain high level of safe work practices at all times.
• All applicants must have ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC+R systems, ensuring operations in buildings.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain various HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Provide training and mentorship for apprentices when required.

Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills

Good co-ordination and manual dexterity

Ability to troubleshoot and rectify a large variety of operational problems

Good physical strength and stamina

Ability to work well with co-workers, contractors & clients

Fluent in English

Education

Valid Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration And Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification

Class B Gas Ticket or A Ticket

CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certificate
