Position Title: Human Resources (HR) Specialist
Location: Waterloo or Sarnia, Ontario
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Travel: Required between offices in Waterloo and Sarnia
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist (5+ years) who will play a vital role in supporting both of our locations. This role is about more than policies and processes—it's about people. The successful candidate will be a safe place for employees, an empowering partner for managers, and a driver of efficient, effective HR practices.
You will oversee recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations while ensuring that HR serves as both a strategic partner and a trusted resource. Strong communication, openness, and efficiency are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture where people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
