Overview

Hourly Amusement Host - The Rec Room Brentwood at Cineplex, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

What you will do

• Promote an outstanding entertainment experience to guests in accordance with The Rec Room’s standards of operation.
• Act as a subject matter expert on gaming within the facility to help curate the gaming experience for both experienced and non-experienced players.
• Ensure games are clean and well maintained for guests; follow all safety procedures.
• Deliver exceptional service and entertainment experiences; upsell games by demonstrating game operations and creating a fun environment.
• Operate major attractions; assist in setup and teardown for functions, events, and activities.
• Inform guests about pricing for special events, promotions, and daily events; address guest inquiries and concerns with management as needed.
• Restock redemption store and keep individual stations clean and fully operational.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.

Work Conditions

• Working varied shifts; standing for long periods.
• Working alone for full shifts; bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
