A governmental geospatial services group is seeking a GIS Technologist II in Canada, British Columbia. The role involves managing ArcGIS systems, developing geospatial strategies, and enhancing data automation. Candidates should have a post-secondary qualification in GIS and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, including two years of ArcGIS Enterprise administration. The GIS Technologist II is responsible for system administration of ArcGIS and Enterprise systems, data analysis, enhancing organizational process automation, and is responsible for the organizational geospatial strategy and implementation.
Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, this highly skilled, self‑directed individual has technical work experience in the administration and delivery of GIS services within an ArcGIS Enterprise environment. This role will manage and maintain the city’s GIS infrastructure and enterprise GIS with a focus on service delivery.
This permanent position is 40 hours per week, posted internally and externally concurrently.

Employment for this role is regular, full‑time, 40‑hour work week, and is benefitted. This is a unionized position and will be a part of CUPE 2093 local. Benefits and vacation are in accordance with CUPE Local 2093 Collective Agreement, and the current rate of pay is $48.16/Hour.
