Position Title: Manager of Communication
Location: Toronto or Montreal, Canada
Languages Required: Bilingual (English and French) - verbal and written
Job Purpose:
The Manager of Communication will be part of the Canada Communication team and will report to the Director of Communication, Client and Associate Engagement. This role will develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy at ADP Canada, focusing primarily on client communication while also addressing associate communication. The Manager will ensure consistent, engaging, and effective messaging that supports organizational objectives and aligns with ADP's corporate standards and branding.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on the development and execution of communication plans that enhances client engagement and strengthens internal associate communication.
Collaborate with leaders across various business units to create, design, and implement impactful communication initiatives that resonate with diverse audiences.
Manage and refine the framework of communications to internal associates, promoting a unified and clear message that cultivates an inclusive 'One ADP' culture.
Oversee the execution of a calendar of communication initiatives to ensure alignment with the company's strategic direction, goals, and priorities.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of both client and associate communications, making adjustments as necessary to improve engagement and clarity.
Support key leadership communications by developing presentations, messaging, and promotional content for business events and updates.
Act as a consultant to senior leaders of ADP Canada, on communication strategies and best practices for various types of messages.
Implement and manage all internal communication channels, ensuring they are utilized effectively to promote business objectives.
Innovate and introduce new communication methods and technologies to drive engagement among clients and associates.
Provide coaching and support to managers and team members on effective communication practices, enhancing their presentation and messaging skills.
Ensure all communications adhere to ADP's governance, branding, and visual identity guidelines.
Stay informed on industry trends in communication, integrating best practices into ADP's communication strategy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
Proven experience in managing complex communication initiatives, with a focus on both client and associate communications.
Extensive experience with various digital and traditional communication channels and tools.
Demonstrated ability to craft clear and compelling messaging for a variety of audiences.
8 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
Strong creativity and innovation in developing communication strategies.
Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
Self-starter with the initiative to drive projects independently and proactively.
Proven project management skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Digitally literate, with experience using communication tools, including SharePoint and content management systems.
Additional Information:
This position may require occasional travel between Toronto and Montreal and involvement in key organizational events outside regular business hours.
