Salary Range: The full salary range for this position is $84,200 to $140,300 annually. The target range is $100,000 to $123,000 annually. Salary decisions are generally based on factors such as internal equity, candidate experience and leadership, degrees, and sometimes the candidate's work location.
Job Objective: As an asset manager, you will oversee 2 to 4 renewable energy projects focusing on financial and operational performance. Your daily tasks will include contract review, resolving business issues, and ensuring compliance to maximize asset value and meet annual KPIs. You will work with internal and external SMEs and communicate with project investors to mitigate risks and seize opportunities. You will also promote a safety culture through observations and team engagements, adhering to health, safety, environment, and sustainability standards, and complying with all internal controls, codes of ethics, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Work Conditions: 80% of the time in an office environment using computers and office equipment, and 20% visiting project sites and attending conferences and meetings.
Fiscal Responsibility: Annual EBITDA per project, operational KPIs, and safety measures.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits across Canada to wind farms, solar parks, and battery storage sites. Outside the office, may involve climbing, lifting, bending, and occasionally lifting loads of 25-35 pounds.
