Located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, we are seeking a 2nd Class Power Engineer. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The Shift Engineer, reporting to the Steam & Recovery Manager, supervises the crew and ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Steam & Recovery plant, optimizing production, quality, and costs.
Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and operating equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring environmental compliance
  • Reporting incidents, audits, and safety checks, and completing action items
  • Managing administrative tasks like scheduling and logbooks
  • Participating in departmental projects
  • Coordinating maintenance activities
  • Mentoring operators

Qualifications include:

  • Interprovincial Second-Class Power Engineer Certificate
  • Manufacturing or pulp experience is an asset
  • Leadership in troubleshooting and personnel management
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
