Overview

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a Maintenance Technician position for a Manufacturing company in North Dartmouth, MA. This is a Temp/Direct hire. Apply now!

Responsibilities
  • Program and operate HASS CNC machines for precision manufacturing tasks
  • Program and maintain laser engraving equipment for molding machines
  • Perform minor repairs and regular maintenance on injection molds
  • Clean and maintain injection molds to extend lifespan and product quality
  • Design and build End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) for molding department robots
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on sewing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with embroidery machines and automatic fabric cutters
  • Perform small-scale building maintenance tasks
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments
  • Provide programming support for laser engraving devices, injection molding robots, embroidery machines, and fabric cutters
  • Assist in optimizing equipment settings for improved efficiency and quality
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with EHS standards
Compensation and Schedule

Compensation (USD):

  • 1st Shift — $31.25/hour

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift
  • 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Monday – Friday
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, Vocational education, or GED
  • Technical training or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or related fields
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Basic programming knowledge for CNC machines, laser engravers, and robotic systems
  • Familiarity with injection molding processes and equipment maintenance
  • Experience with sewing machine maintenance and repair is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and work in various physical positions
  • Manual dexterity for operating tools and performing intricate repairs
