Job description

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a growing Manchester based business. Are you the kind of person who thrives on making things run smoothly behind the scenes? Do you love solving problems before anyone notices them, keeping multiple plates spinning, and turning chaos into clarity?

We're on the lookout for a highly organised, trusted Executive Assistant to join our client in a unique and influential role that blends operations, communication, and strategic support. This isn't your typical admin job - you'll be deeply embedded in the rhythms of senior leadership, helping to drive momentum across the business by enabling people to focus on what they do best.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as a critical bridge between leadership and the wider organisation, keeping plans aligned, priorities clear, and conversations moving.
  • Coordinate internal initiatives, workshops, and key meetings - from preparation to execution to follow-up.
  • Own calendars, travel, communications and planning cycles - always staying one step ahead.
  • Shape and refine internal processes to support executive focus and team productivity.
  • Support the delivery of strategic projects, governance cycles, and team-level events.
  • Provide confidential, reliable administrative support with a solutions-focused mindset.

About You

  • You're a natural organiser with a sixth sense for anticipating what's needed before it's asked.
  • You've supported senior stakeholders before, and understand how to communicate across levels with clarity and tact.
  • You combine big-picture thinking with obsessive attention to detail - comfortable juggling shifting priorities without missing a beat.
  • You're emotionally intelligent, discreet, and understand the importance of trust in close working relationships.
  • You're fluent in a variety of IT systems and platforms, and quick to learn anything new.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in a dynamic, high-growth or fast-moving environment.
  • A track record of working closely with senior leaders, managing complex schedules and sensitive information.
  • A calm and proactive approach, even when things are moving quickly.
  • An appetite for continuous improvement - of systems, workflows, and team effectiveness.

Why Join?

You'll be joining a values-led organisation where your role has real influence. This position sits within the People & Culture team, giving you a front-row seat to employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture-building initiatives - as well as the inner workings of strategic leadership.

If you're passionate about making the complex simple, enabling others to succeed, and bringing structure to fast-moving environments, this could be your next big move.
