Job description

We are seeking a creative and organized Events Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our events. The ideal candidate will manage a team, coordinate with clients, and ensure each event runs seamlessly, meeting and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations. Develop customised event solutions to meet client goals.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Plan, organize, and execute events, from concept to completion. Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, equipment coordination, and schedules. Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and manage event staff and vendors during the event lifecycle. Assign roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and negotiate vendor rates.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or unexpected challenges during events.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and services. Suggest creative ideas for themed events (eg: Christmas, Corporate, etc.).
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in event management (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Familiarity with the event logistics and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software/tools.
  • Knowledge of carnival game setups and equipment (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Availability to start immediately or on short notice.
