Environmental Technician I (1 year term)

We are looking for an Environmental Technician I for a 1‑year term to perform environmental protection duties at the Glenmore Landfill. You will be responsible for the inspection, operation, and monitoring of landfill and composting equipment, and the collection and interpretation of data for regulatory compliance. The position primarily focuses on organics management, compost production, and assisting with the landfill gas system. You will work collaboratively to reduce environmental emissions, troubleshoot equipment, and assist in the installation of materials to improve operations from an environmental perspective.
