We are seeking an Engineering Student, for our Atlantic Canada District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that is available for 4 months starting January 2026, to work in Charlottetown, PEI.

As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Conducting trade quote reviews – verifying material quantities, hours, and rates
• Conducting deficiency walks
• Inputting/Updating deficiency logs
• Issuing warranties
• Taking/Coordinating progress photos
• Updating, coordinating, and producing drawings
• Performing quantity takeoffs
• Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work
• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings
• Setting‑up/Maintaining record keeping
• Updating project schedules
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub‑trades

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering or a related field preferred.
• A passion for working in a construction environment.
• Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
• Self‑motivated with a hands‑on approach.
• Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.

The estimated salary range for this role is $20.94 - $26.86, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
