Early Childhood Educator (up to 24 months)

Located on the Trent-Severn Waterway in the heart of the Kawartha tourism region, Peterborough is a unique community known for its exceptional quality of life and beautiful setting. The Early Childhood Educator will plan and implement a weekly curriculum of stimulating educational development activities and ensure the provision of a caring, clean and safe environment for preschool children enrolled in a City of Peterborough Child Care Centre.

Qualifications and Other Pertinent Details

Requires an individual who has a two-year college diploma in Early Childhood Education or similar program and is a registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators. Requires a combination of up to one year previous and on-the-job experience. Must have Standard First Aid and Infant / Child CPR certifications.
