The Opportunity
As our Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager, you’ll lead Woola’s digital strategy from planning to execution. You’ll oversee content creation, paid and organic social campaigns, website updates, analytics, and performance reporting—while managing and mentoring at least one Social Media or Content Specialist.
This role blends strategy, leadership, and hands‑on execution. You’ll work closely with field technicians, leadership, and operations teams to translate real work into compelling digital storytelling that supports brand growth, recruitment, and client engagement.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
Digital Strategy & Campaign Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital and social media strategies aligned with Woola’s business and recruitment goals.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid and organic social media campaigns across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Own campaign planning, budgeting, targeting, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
- Stay current on platform trends, ad formats, and best practices to maintain a competitive digital presence.
Content & Brand Management
- Oversee Woola’s content calendar and ensure consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Direct and contribute to high‑quality photography, videography, and graphic content captured across job sites, events, and company initiatives.
- Maintain brand standards across digital assets, campaigns, website content, and promotional materials.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage, mentor, and support at least one Social Media / Content Specialist, providing clear direction, feedback, and performance coaching.
- Coordinate workflows, prioritize projects, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with leadership, operations, recruiting, and sales teams to support company initiatives.
Website, Analytics & Reporting
- Oversee website content updates to ensure accuracy, user experience, and brand alignment.
- Implement and maintain basic SEO best practices and keyword strategies.
- Track KPIs across social media, paid campaigns, and website performance.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports with insights, ROI analysis, and recommendations for growth.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Lead digital promotion for project launches, recruitment campaigns, client events, and brand activations.
- Oversee creation and adaptation of digital and print assets including social graphics, presentations, e‑blasts, and signage.
- Manage digital marketing vendors and budgets, and support marketing administration where required.
What You Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content leadership roles.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing or mentoring team members and coordinating creative workflows.
- Campaign Expertise: Hands‑on experience running paid social media campaigns, including budgeting and performance optimization.
- Content Skills: Strong understanding of content creation, photography, videography, and editing workflows (drone experience is an asset).
- Technical Skills: Experience with Meta Business Suite, analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush or similar), and website CMS platforms.
- Creative Tools: Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strategic Mindset: Data‑driven decision‑making with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Communication: Clear, confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- AI Experience: Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, ad optimization, and workflow efficiency is a plus.
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred.
