Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of experience, with skills in version control, automation tools like Ansible or SaltStack, and infrastructure as code tools. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers and provides hands-on exposure to real-world systems, all within a focused and technical team. Preference will be given to those based in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Exposure to automation/configuration management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of highly available infrastructure.
• Help build/configure databases, replication, load balancing.
• Provision and deploy environments using infrastructure as code.

Skills

Experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering

Experience using Git or similar version control systems

Exposure to automation or configuration management tools

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform

Comfort working in Linux or Unix environments

Knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, Lua, Go)

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals
