Overview

DCE - SUPPLY LINC / ESL INSTRUCTOR

Durham Continuing Education provides adult daytime programming and continuing education programs. Programs include adult literacy and upgrading, ESL for adults, LINC, online and in-person offerings, and other related services. Note: All LINC / ESL positions are dependent on funding from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD).

Position details

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 11:30 and/or 12:00 - 3:00 (maximum 6 hours a day).

Location: DCE – Oshawa and Pickering. Position is currently for an on-site instructor, for virtual, synchronous classes (this may change to in-person at any time, pending funders).

Qualifications

• Must be TESL certified
• Experience working with adults is an asset
• Trained in PBLA and Avenue

Comfort and experience working in an online learning environment preferred.
