As a Database Developer, you'll be a central part of the Product Development team—owning the evolution of the data layer that supports a suite of next-generation products. You’ll help transition legacy systems to a modern, cloud-native architecture and build a new business layer to generate real-time insights from time-series data. You’ll also maintain and enhance existing SQL-based infrastructure to ensure rock-solid performance and scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a Database Developer, own and evolve data models that enable scalable product development
  • Architect horizontal scalability for data layers across on-prem and cloud platforms
  • Enhance and maintain SQL-based business and data access layers
  • Optimize database performance to ensure reliability and uptime across all deployments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse technologies into a unified platform

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years as a Database Developer with strong SQL / PLSQL expertise
  • Deep knowledge of data architecture, performance optimization, and cloud database systems
  • Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL (TimescaleDB preferred)
  • Strong Linux skills and backend integration using Python, Java, C / C++, or Go
  • Proven success in supporting mission-critical database environments
  • Familiarity with database security, monitoring, and operational best practices

Bonus If You Have

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Hands-on experience with TimescaleDB, Snowflake, MongoDB, or other cloud-based DBs
  • Experience with large-scale database migrations or building data lakes
  • Exposure to fast-paced, agile software development environments
