Job description
Overview

Our established client in the consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys diving deep into data, building engaging dashboards, and supporting strategic functions across the business.

This is a 6-month contract position (with possibility of extension) and is fully remote in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, create, and continuously improve corporate reports for all levels of U.S. management and fulfill Global reporting requests.
  • Become the subject matter expert in IRI sales data and support key tools including Marketing Mix and Long Range Forecasting analytics.
  • Design and maintain U.S. dashboards with IT support, leveraging data from the upcoming Data Lake.
  • Collaborate across the Growth Department (RGM – Trade ROI, eComm, Product Lifecycle Management, Consumer Insights) as well as with U.S. Leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure reporting meets evolving business needs.
  • Manage reporting schedules and ensure timely delivery of accurate, updated information.
  • Oversee the addition of new items to the IRI database in collaboration with IRI, and recommend database clean-up initiatives for improved reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst role, preferably in the CPG or retail industry.
  • Strong comfort level with data, with the ability to interpret, synthesize, and present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Circana or Nielsen data tools is a strong asset.
  • Experience or familiarity with BI dashboards, or Python is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner across multiple departments and levels of leadership.
