A boutique law firm in Edmonton is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to work on a casual basis (1 to 3 days/week). The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate filings and compliance. Key responsibilities include preparing and filing corporate documents, maintaining records, and liaising with clients. 3 years of experience and CORES Level 3 certification required.

Qualifications

TLE Law is a boutique law firm located in downtown Edmonton specializing in Aboriginal Law. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team on a casual basis (1 to 3 days per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate filings and compliance and will play a key role in supporting our legal team with corporate transactions and documentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and filing of corporate documents including incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, and annual returns.
  • Maintenance of corporate records and minute books.
  • Conduction of due diligence and corporate searches.
  • Assistance with drafting resolutions, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Liaising with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable corporate legislation and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • CORES Level 3 certificationisrequired.
  • Minimum of3 years of experienceas a corporate paralegal.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Paralegal Diplomais considered anasset.
