List of Requirements

• The Wildwood Public House is looking for a Cook/Chef, preferably with pizza-making experience.
• General kitchen experience, knowledge of food costing, and creating delicious menu items are required.
• Our pizza oven and kitchen are currently open Thursday to Sunday from 5 to 9 pm.
• This position is 32 to 40 hours per week (plus private events, as scheduled) with the possibility of sharing these hours with a regularly scheduled assistant, partner chef, or prep cook.
• We are looking for someone to begin training with our current chef as soon as possible and to begin building a kitchen team to take over the kitchen by approximately October 1, or sooner.
• This position requires innovation and creativity to run food service from the pizza oven area with limited access to the major kitchen appliances.
• Ideas for expansion can be explored based on experience and your ability to work independently.

List of Duties

• Make pizza dough and pizzas as well as other menu items.
• Create specials and feature menu items.
• Do orders for the kitchen and maintain general supplies for the Pub.
• Do grocery runs or do orders to be delivered.
• Upload receipts to QB for the bookkeeper weekly.
• Train and schedule staff.
• Coordinate with Bar/General Management.
• Some social media.
