Overview

GNR is seeking a hands-on CONTROLLER / ACCOUNTING MANAGER for a growing manufacturing organization in the Toronto, Canada area.

This position offers visibility and growth within the organization where you will be actively involved with the day-to-day business's financial needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Manage all accounting functions including financial reporting, AP / AR, general ledger, fixed assets, month & year-end closeouts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage & mentor a small team while collaborating with other executives & functions
• Financial reporting including income statements, balance sheets & cash flow statements, prepare budgets.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Familiar with all cost variables & variance analysis in a PRODUCT-based MANUFACTURING environment.
• Degree plus 10+ years’ relevant accounting experience within a MANUFACTURING environment
• Ability to manage and resolve complex account reconciliation
• Ensure compliance and Internal Controls including GAAP and internal audits
• Canadian Citizenship required

Direct-hire / Full Time position with an attractive base salary + bonus
