A construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage on-site teams and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of construction tasks. The construction superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team, oversee all work on site, and coordinate all the activities of a construction site according to the project plans and specifications. Superintendents will work with project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, Field Personnel, and other office departments to deliver successful projects to owners on time and on budget with the desired level of quality. The construction Superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on-site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are always available on-site. You will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals. Superintendents must be strong leaders, pro-active, and perform well under pressure. Superintendents must be able to travel as needed for projects and be flexible to work various schedules as the project requires.
PERFORMANCE BONUS: (up to $6,000 per Qtr) + per diem (when applicable) + potential end of year bonus.
INSURANCE: MJ Hughes will pay 100% of our base medical coverage for the employee, 50% of the premium for dependents.
VACATION AND PTO: Accrual will start immediately in accordance with WA State Law. 401k + COMPANY MATCH - Available to those employees who choose to enroll. Employees become eligible after 90 days of employment and employer contributions occur at the end of each calendar year.
