Qualifications

Overview

Construction Materials Testing Technician at Kleinfelder — Ontario, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
  • Travel throughout Southern California as required.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of soil and concrete testing experience.
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification.
  • Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge.

  • ICC certifications
  • CWI certification
  • County of Los Angeles Deputy certifications
  • City of Los Angeles Deputy certifications
Skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and photo management software.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new field reporting and data technologies.

  • Must have own vehicle, valid driver\'s license, and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and / or Live Scan fingerprinting based on project requirements.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout Southern California.

Compensation and Benefits
