Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance Paralegal to support our legal and compliance departments in ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases, providing legal support on various projects in different languages and locations.
  2. Support compliance-related matters across domestic and international subsidiaries.
  3. Communicate with clients and operational teams to prepare and file immigration petitions and applications (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, I-130, I-485, I-765, I-140, LIMIA).
  4. Perform administrative tasks in support of legal teams.
  5. Assist with entity formation, dissolution, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  6. Coordinate and manage annual filings, business licenses, and compliance deadlines.
  7. Support due diligence efforts for corporate transactions and audits.
  8. Draft and review contracts, NDAs, and other legal agreements.
  9. Liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, partners, and regulatory authorities as needed.

Qualifications :

  1. 1–3+ years of experience in a legal setting.
  2. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  3. High level of organization and attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
  5. Bilingual in English and Mandarin; proficient in both spoken and written communication.
  6. Confidentiality is essential in all tasks.
