Qualifications

  • RIBO license preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Commercial Insurance Brokers.
  • Service existing accounts and write new business.
  • Provide customer service, advice, and support understanding insurance products.
  • Handle incoming commercial paperwork and assist with quotes.
  • Negotiate with underwriters and follow up on claims.

We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join BrokerLink in Kenora, ON on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist Commercial Insurance Brokers
  • Service existing accounts and write new business
  • Provide prompt customer service, advice, and support understanding insurance products
  • Handle incoming commercial paperwork
  • Assist with quotes, new business, coverage reviews, and updates
  • Prepare documentation, complete applications, issue certificates
  • Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments
  • Communicate with insurers, negotiate with underwriters, and follow up on claims
  • Gather additional information as needed for underwriting

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school or post-secondary education
  • At least 3 years of commercial insurance experience (property/casualty and auto preferred)
  • RIBO license preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Strong customer focus
  • Sales experience is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
