Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients, particularly those in the pet care and veterinary sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for animals and a strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. You will be responsible for addressing inquiries, providing information about services, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

This position will be a mix of morning (open 8am) and evening shifts (until 8pm) and consist of 3 to 4 shifts per week with the possibility of moving to full time hours depending on business needs. Depending on experience and performance, the successful candidate may eventually be moved into our weekend rotation as well.

Duties
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist clients with scheduling appointments and managing their accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Address any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred; or pet care environment is a plus.
  • Skills in dog and cat handling and general pet care are beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
