Our client, an accounting & taxation services firm located in Owen Sound, ON, is currently seeking a Client Associate to play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring their accounting and tax needs are met. This position is a Full-time Monday to Friday in office role. Wages starting at $24.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience.

About The Role

The Client Associate will be the main point of contact for clients, helping them stay connected and informed throughout their accounting and booking processes. Other duties may include:

  • Client Communication & Coordination
  • Contacting Clients Regularly to Request Required Documents & Ensure Timely Submissions
  • Following Up for Any Missing Information to Keep Bookkeeping, Payroll, & Year-end Processes on Track
  • Scheduling & Attending Client Meetings to Review Monthly or Quarterly Financial Statements Prepared by Our Technical Team
  • Arranging Meetings for Our Senior Accountants with Our Clients
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Acting as The Bridge Between Clients & Our Technical Bookkeeping & Accounting teams, Ensuring Questions & clarifications are Handled Promptly
  • Maintaining Accurate Communication Records & Task Updates in Our Client Management System
  • Client Experience & Growth
  • Collecting Regular Client Feedback & Satisfaction Ratings to Help Us Continuously Improve Service Quality
  • Attending at Least Two Local Networking Events Each Month to Build Community Connections & Generate Potential Client Referrals.
  • Seeking Referrals from Existing Clients & Professional Contacts

Qualifications

  • 2-5 Years of Experience in Client Service, Administration, or Accounting Office Roles
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or at least one year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong Communication & Organization Skills with Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Client Relationships & Meet Deadlines Independently
  • Positive, Professional, & Approachable Personality Who Enjoys Helping Others.
  • Comfortable Learning Bookkeeping Software & CRM Systems (training provided)
