Job Summary

As a Class 1 Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
• Work schedule will vary; willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 AZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane is considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
