Position Summary...

The Senior Analyst, Site Merchandising oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of site experiences, enhancing the customer journey to drive engagement and conversion. This role collaborates with internal teams to create a seamless online shopping experience and improve site performance.

The Senior Analyst designs and executes site experiences, ensuring alignment with core customer messages. The position may brief delivery teams and manage program elements from strategy to deployment. The analyst researches and documents best practices for digital and mobile experiences, and develops plans to highlight key priorities across the digital customer journey.

This role analyzes and improves the customer's path to purchase, managing site taxonomy, navigational elements, and customer messaging based on site data. Understanding customer search behavior, the analyst optimizes search result pages to improve conversion through visual navigation, filters, synonyms, and redirects. Additionally, defining and setting up category‑specific attributes and product recommendations may be required.

Performance monitoring and analytics are critical. The analyst implements optimizations based on data‑driven analysis, leveraging various data sources to constantly enhance customer satisfaction. Supporting the development of testing and experimentation plans, the analyst iterates on site experiences to continually enhance engagement.

The Senior Analyst partners with internal teams, such as merchandising, marketing, and SEO, to improve processes and identify opportunities. Effective communication and interaction with leaders across all functional areas ensure ongoing assessment and improvement of the site's strategic direction and execution.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years related experience in Merchandising, Site Merchandising, eCommerce or a related field
  • Experience with analytical tools like Adobe Omniture, Looker and Tableau is an asset
  • Strong customer obsession focused on building the right site experience for our customer
  • Analytical and process‑oriented, comfortable making data‑driven decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross‑functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
