Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager this position is responsible for managing strategic suppliers of the business to ensure that customer demands and service levels are met, and that components and finished goods are procured in an efficient and timely manner while meeting inventory targets. This position should also be responsible to identify / resolve any supply chain issues from suppliers while also performing purchasing related analytics to drive better decision making and improve efficiency.
Manage strategic suppliers through negotiation, relationship building, and performance metrics
PO creation and management (Supplier, Price, QTY, ETA) for a portfolio of products
Ownership of inventory management of portfolio
Conduct supplier meetings and reviews
Identify opportunities to reduce inventory (e.g., MOQ, lead times)
Coordinate quality and non-conformance issues between suppliers, engineering, and quality
Manage engineering changes with vendors
Participate in new product development
Coordinate end-of-life component balance-out efforts
Support TCP targets by participating in Glass House initiatives
Analyze procurement data to improve purchasing metrics and efficiency
Lead or support cross-functional teams for process improvements and new product launches
Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies to enhance systems and processes
Lead Root Cause & Counter Measure analysis that support working capital and fill rate improvements
Contribute to departmental goal setting aligned with overall business objectives
Ensure compliance with Masco’s internal control procedures
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
PMAC Certification highly desired
3-5 years of purchasing experience, with increasing responsibility
Proficient in computer systems; experience with JDE is an asset
Product knowledge and understanding of inventory systems are beneficial
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
Analytical and decision‑making skills to drive efficiency
Effective negotiation and influencing abilities
Project and process management experience
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proven ability to build consensus and foster supplier relationships
Data‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
