Job Description
  • Assist the Chinese project and business teams in developing and maintaining relationships with local government authorities, industrial zones, clients, and strategic partners.
  • Provide full support to Chinese colleagues in market research, opportunity identification, and business development in the chemicals, petrochemicals, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Assist project execution by coordinating permits, visas.
  • Assist the Chinese team to track and report local policies, regulations, tax rules, labor requirements, and government procedures relevant to company operations and project implementation.
  • Assist the company’s localization strategy, including building local supplier networks, subcontractor resources, and talent channels.
  • Provide timely reporting on market dynamics, risks, competitors, and potential opportunities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Egyptian national with a bachelor’s degree or above; backgrounds in engineering, business, international trade, or related fields preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in business development, project coordination, EPC industry, international companies, or government relations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the Egyptian industrial market, government procedures, and business environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to coordinate between Chinese and local stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is required; Chinese language ability is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with international engineering projects, tendering processes, and contract basics is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multitasking, and travel within Egypt when necessary.
  • High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and integrity.
Additional Requirements
  • Good network with local authorities, banks, EPC firms, industrial parks, or energy/chemical sector entities is a plus.
  • Ability to support the company’s long-term development in Egypt, including potential branch establishment and localization efforts.
