Business Systems Analyst – Systems Integration

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to support the design and delivery of technical integrations across multiple enterprise platforms. This role will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate system capabilities, and define integration solutions that enable efficient data exchange, scalable workflows, and improved operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, hands‑on experience with integration technologies, and the ability to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements related to system integrations.
- Assess existing applications, data sources, and infrastructure to evaluate integration feasibility, identify constraints, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Salesforce Architects to design end‑to‑end integration architectures, including data mappings, interfaces, and workflow automation.
- Work closely with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure integration solutions are implemented in alignment with business requirements, architectural standards, and best practices.
- Support testing and quality assurance activities by troubleshooting integration issues and resolving defects in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration designs, configurations, processes, and support procedures.
- Communicate integration strategies, timelines, risks, and outcomes to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with fellow Business Systems Analysts to ensure consistency and alignment with functional standards across the broader program.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Integration Technologies: Hands‑on experience with integration platforms, APIs, and messaging systems such as MuleSoft, Apache Kafka, and RESTful services.
- Data Formats & Protocols: Strong understanding of common data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and communication protocols (HTTP, FTP, SFTP).
- Database Knowledge: Solid knowledge of database concepts, including experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience working with cloud‑based platforms such as AWS or Azure, including their integration and connectivity capabilities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on technical integrations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, Salesforce) are considered an asset.
