Operations Manager Assistant

Job Salary

$60,000 / Year (Potential for a bit of flexibility depending on experience)

About the Opportunity
  • Support daily operational planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination in collaboration with operations leadership
  • Act as a liaison between sales, warehouse, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure smooth operational execution
  • Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and supporting documentation for management review and decision-making
  • Support compliance with all applicable Canadian firearms laws, regulations, and regulatory standards
  • Assist in maintaining valid business firearms licences, customer eligibility verification, and related regulatory records
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping for firearms and ammunition transactions, including traceability, audits, and inspections
  • Review and support order processing to ensure regulatory compliance prior to shipment, including required documentation
  • Assist with returns, transfers, discrepancies, and credits in accordance with legal and compliance requirements
  • Support inventory control activities, including tracking, reconciliation, cycle counts, secure storage, and access controls
  • Coordinate compliant inbound and outbound logistics, support SOP development, identify operational or compliance risks, and assist with employee training coordination
About You
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar administrative support role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a retail or wholesale distribution environment considered an asset
  • Experience using Sage 300 or a similar ERP system considered an asset
