What to Expect
- Provide taxation support to clients via telephone and email for various tax software products
- Utilize active listening skills to manage and diffuse potentially tense customer interactions
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine customer issues
- Log customer orders for product purchases and participate in software quality control testing
- Write standard responses for frequently asked questions and identify recurring client issues
What is Required
- Good knowledge of income tax
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- University degree in taxation, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Graduate of the H&R Block tax course
- Knowledge of the accounting cycle and/or experience in an accounting office
- Interest in taxation and corporate income tax regulations
