Job description

Manpower is seeking an Administrative Assistant Support for a full-time position with an exciting client located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

What is in it for you?

  • Pay rate: $17.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
  • Paid weekly, every Friday
  • Morning shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Contract for 6 months with potential extension and possibility of becoming permanent

What is the job?

  • Follow-up with claimants via phone; customer service in both languages (French) is an asset
  • Requesting documents, updating records, and communicating via letters
  • Coordinate with providers and employees to book independent medical examinations, organize schedules, and triage calls
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent time management
  • Other duties as assigned

What do you bring to the job?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role (banking, financial services, medical office, or insurance) is desirable
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Teams)
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both languages
  • Punctuality and dependability
  • Minimum typing speed: 45 WPM with 90% accuracy
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection, preferably hardwired
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Ability to work both on-site and remotely
