Role

Your role as an Administration Officer

As an Administration Officer you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operations of the team. This role is a reception role where you will also work collaboratively with the Health & Wellbeing team members to effectively triage, prioritise and schedule allied health and wellbeing services for customers.

In this role you will support the function of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which aligns with the strategic goals of the Health and Wellbeing team within Community Care and Inclusion and Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ). Whilst this role will be based at one of our central hubs, as an employee of WMQ, you will be required to work across multiple sites and multiple customer groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative or receptionist duties for a team. This includes general administration tasks, management of invoices, preparation of reports, and maintenance of records.
  • Respond to enquiries sent to the team within a timely manner. This includes handling customer or client queries and greeting them as the first point of contact.
  • Assist with office duties including photocopying, filing, mailing, and data entry.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient administration services are provided.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies, stationery and equipment, and coordinate repair and maintenance requests as required.
  • Enter and maintain data in relevant systems and databases, ensuring data inputted is accurate and free of errors.
  • Perform other duties as advised by your Manager.
About You
  • Previous experience in an administration or receptionist role, and / or an appropriate certificate relevant to Administration.
  • Knowledge of administrative best practice.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management ability and the ability to prioritise work tasks effectively.
